When Analisse Taft-Gersten decided to open ALT A Little Taste as an extension of her showroom,  ALT for Living, she knew there was only one person to partner up with, Greg Heinz. Analisse was very familiar with Greg’s roasts as it was her go to coffee on the North Fork of long island. When the two first met they knew immediately they had the perfect formula for a unique successful café. Greg brought in all of the experience of a perfectly bespoke barista and the technical aspects of running a coffee bar. Analisse brought to the table the culture of a Parisian style café and the business background of running a New York City storefront.

The two together agreed that ALT should be nothing but the finest coffee experience in NYC. Located in the heart of the bustling flower district & now the Upper East Side, A Little Taste cafés offers delicious daily delivered local pastries, freshly roasted coffee and invites the customer to encounter “a little taste” of Europe.
